Poetry (Day 279): Painting

Working with you,
in the back room.
Covered with constellations
of paint, laughing,
singing along with the radio.
The grey gloom
soon disappears
and the world
looks fresh and clean.

You may be able to tell where I am up to with my house renovations from this poem and the one from the first of the month. The new bathroom is almost done. Yay. Hopefully we can have a shower (after way too may baths in the half demolished old bathroom, which was mentioned back near the start of August) on friday. Hopefully. Though you may also be able to tell from yesterday’s poem that I have said similar things in the past.
